Luis Royo and his technique
Journal Entry: Fri Aug 3, 2007, 5:16 AM
I'm not a big Luis Royo fan, too much of his stuff is a bit cliché, but I do love many of his paintings still. He's an excellent draftsman and when it comes to realistic art he's amongst one of my faves.
I know he starts off his paintings in acrylics, both with brush and airbrush and touches it up afterwards with oils/tempera, what i don't know is a more exact step by step line of event, how exactly does he work... Do any of you, does any of his books describe indebth that process?
